ABOUT ME
I am a music educator based in Morehead, KY, holding a Bachelor of Music Education from Morehead State University. I have studied with flute professors Dr. Ellen Mosley and Dr. Julie Baker during my time at MSU. My experience includes working as an instructor for AIM Summer Music Academy, running sectionals and teaching private lessons for various schools, working as part of the instructional staff for the Pike County Central High School marching band, and student teaching at Picadome Elementary School and Henry Clay High School. In addition to teaching, I have experience performing with Morehead State University’s concert band, marching band, symphony band, flute ensemble, tuba and euphonium ensemble, concert choir, chamber singers, and jazz vocal ensemble as well as the Cave Run Symphony Orchestra, Winds of Appalachia, and the Pine Mountain Wind Symphony (formerly KYVA Winds). In addition to performing and teaching, I have also served in several leadership roles in organizations at MSU. I have served as President, Editor, and Music Director of the Gamma Upsilon chapter of Sigma Alpha Iota, Caudill College of Arts Representative of the Student Government Association, drum major for the MSU marching band, and as a member at large of MSU’s CNAfME chapter and Flute Club.

My passion for music has been present since I was really young, always dreaming of being a musician. It wasn't until I started playing the flute that I realized that music was something I wanted to do for the rest of my life. I've always loved playing and performing, and I hope that I can foster that same kind of passion in my students.
